Consulting Programs Overview 


Sales and Marketing

We offer a three-phase program which includes: the evaluation phase and the strategic planning and development phase. The consulting phases are offered individually or as a full program.



I.  Evaluation Phase:

Scope:
This phase includes an audit of the sales systems and procedures, evaluation of short term and long term sales performance, market and account deployment, sell strategies, staff knowledge and competencies, booking goals, and overall sales office effectiveness.

Outcome:

  • Overview of observations, statistical comparisons, and narrative feedback on current systems.
  • Recommendations for improvements for sales system, sales organization and sales procedures.
  • Mystery shops of Sales staff.



II. Strategic Planning Phase:

Scope:
This phase includes a supply and demand market study, yield management analysis, identifies key sales and marketing objectives, identifies target markets and key accounts, set booking and activity goals for staff and provide action plan initiatives.

Outcome:

  • Property specific marketing plan.
  • Sell strategies for all revenue generating departments.
  • Performance goals for sales staff.



III. Development Phase:


Scope:
This phase is to provide mentoring for the sales director and staff with ongoing evaluation and feedback, development input and assistance, and a resource to provide recommendations on supervision, strategies and system development and improvement.

Service components include:


  • Regular meetings (determined by property management) to discuss progress and achievement of actions, to develop new sales and marketing action plans, and to evaluate the market and competitive set performance.
  • To provide a resource for property general manager, sales director, and senior sales staff for advice and ideas.
  • To provide regular sales audits and mystery sales shops.


Task Force

Strategic Partners Services (SPS) can provide staff for Hotel Accounting, Operations, and Sales Special Projects.

Length of time, travel obligations, and compensation will determine staff availability. We are open to consider all requests, including on-site or at-home requirements.

Fees can be hourly or project based rates and vary based on experience or technical knowledge required for the assignment.
